Answer the telephone for the team, who is not at their desk, within four rings. • Ensure service delivery is consistent and customer queries are resolved. • Deal with routine queries, assess nature of the call, and forward to the appropriate person. • Order keys at the request of tenants and receives payment. • Make file notes on any contact with tenants on tenancy and rent issues and pass to the relevant officer. • Post HB, DSS Direct and tenant payments onto First Software, complete appropriate paperwork and pass to Finance Dept. • Input Housing Benefit review dates on First Software. • Maintain and update correspondence log, patch lists and void reports, producing a report on a monthly basis. • Maintain and update general office files.
